How to use this page

Preparing properly helps your body respond more effectively to treatment and ensures you get the most out of your session.

Before you arrive:

  • Stay well hydrated (this is one of the most important factors)

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing

  • Avoid heavy meals right before your appointment

  • Bring any compression garments if they’ve been recommended

  • Let us know about any recent changes in your health

Before Your Session

Helpful to know:

Your session is designed to meet your body where it’s at that day. Arriving relaxed and prepared allows us to work more effectively and comfortably.

Your body continues processing and responding after your session. Supporting this phase is key to your results.

After your session:

  • Continue drinking water throughout the day

  • Gentle movement (like walking) can help encourage flow

  • Follow any compression recommendations provided

  • Prioritize rest if your body feels tired

What you may notice:

  • Increased urination

  • Mild fatigue

  • A sense of lightness or movement in the body

These are normal responses as your lymphatic system is being stimulated.
